Regular golf players took part in the day alongside with people who have never played before.

With the help of more than 20 volunteers, the day was a success with a mixture of Mears colleagues, family and friends playing on the course.

A total of £2,200 was raised on the day, £2,000 will go to the Mears Foundation and £200 was donated to Teesside Hospice. Well done to the teams that participated!

The winning team won a round of golf at the Worsley Park Marriot Hotel and country club in Manchester.
