Mears Foundation give grant to Herts Young Homeless

Herts Young Homeless aims to prevent homelessness by empowering individuals to make positive informed choices.

Last year, the Mears Foundation provided a grant to cover the costs of a Live Life member to access regular support, including transport to and from regular Live Life meetings, training, employment, and social skills, plus signposting to any other services such as mental health support or counselling.

A spokesperson from Herts Young Homeless said –

“We wanted to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to you all for everything that you have done for Herts Young Homeless this year. By awarding us a grant, the Mears Foundation has made an enormous difference in 2021 and enabled us to continue to provide our vital services for local young people facing some of the most difficult of circumstances, particularly during another testing year as the pandemic continues”
