Red Lipstick Foundation receives donation...

The Red Lipstick Foundation was founded in 2014 following the sudden and unexpected death of their much loved daughter, sister, twin, auntie, niece, granddaughter and friend – Brittany took her life the day before her 20th birthday and her untimely and unexpected death left their world in chaos.

The Red Lipstick Foundation charity was named after  Britt's love of bright red lipstick and her quirky style!

Attached is a picture of Alison Pennicott, KPI & Performance Manager, Mears, Chandlers Ford branch handing the cheque to Jax Missen of the Red Lipstick Foundation.

The Red Stick Foundation were so grateful for the donation.

Darren Keogh walks for Myeloma UK

Darren (Mears, Supply Chain Manager, Manchester) completed the Mears Foundation walk on Friday 12th May 2017 to raise money for the charity Myeloma UK which is the only organisation in the UK focused on myeloma. They help myeloma patients live longer and with a better quality of life by accelerating the discovery and development and access to new treatments, while helping patients and their families cope with everything a diagnosis of myeloma brings.

Darren raised a total of £720 for this worthwhile cause.

Well done Darren!

Mears Foundation Suffolk Walk 1st June 2017

A great day had by all, weather was fantastic and all the walkers seemed to enjoy the scenic walk.

Atmosphere was lively with plenty of banter along the way!

All looking forward to the walk again next year.

Thanks Trina Eagleton (Mears, Regional Director - East Region/MF Trustee) for the feedback.

Summer is here!!

What better way to enjoy the weather than walking in the sun with friends and colleagues.

Walking is undoubtedly the best way to fully appreciate the full beauty of every season and it’s also a guaranteed way to lift the spirits.

Good luck to our walkers in Suffolk today.
