GASAG Donation

Nicola Yeates  delivered donated MF cheque to HASAG charity.

"We are a charity dedicated to helping people suffering from asbestos related diseases and their families throughout the South of England, South East, London and Home Counties. Providing a complete source of help and support for anyone with an asbestos -related disease and their loved ones.

Our free services include:
Home Visits
Information about asbestos related diseases
Help and advice on benefits and compensation
Monthly support group coffee mornings
Always dedicated to helping anyone affected from asbestos
We would use the monies received to go towards supporting newly diagnosed patients and their families, this would include benefits advice, ongoing support, signposting and funding our coffee mornings. At our coffee mornings we have nurses and solicitors on hand to offer invaluable advice and support to those who need it."

Thank you for the feedback Lynne Squibb.

Norwich City Powerball Football Club

Norwich City Powerchair Football Club (NCPFC) The Football Club for Powered Wheelchair Users!

By providing powered wheelchair users, typically those disabled people with severe physical impairments, the opportunity to play a competitive team sport (typically for the first time), not only does the club serve to enhance social inclusion for that minority group, more importantly it provides the individual concerned with a sense of achievement.

We were approached by Tracey Coleman who runs the club who required help with funding.

Mandi Blake-Tracy (Branch Manager at Mears Care Norwich) met with two of the players for the Norwich City Powerball Football Club one of which we provide care for, and kindly presented the cheque donated by the Mears Foundation.

Congratulations on receiving a Foundation grant!

We are pleased to provide funding to the following organizations:-

Scarboccia Club

The Royal Society for Blind Children

Kinship Care NI

Signal - Building deaf friendly communities

Specialist Autism Services (formally known as Sacar)

Hope for Tomorrow
