About the Challenge:
Scafell Pike offers around eight hours of walking over 17km with more than 1000m of ascent. It's a tough, steep hike that involves scrambling over hard terrain. However, the rewards of reaching the summit are unmatched, making it a challenge worth tackling.

• Challenge Date: Friday 28th – Sunday 30th June 2024
• Deposit: £25 per person
• Fundraising Target: Minimum of £350

Fully Supported Hike:
The hike will be fully supported by the advanced skills of Adventure Café hike leaders. Whether you're a seasoned hiker or new to the trails, they will help guide you every step of the way.
Itinerary:
Friday 28th June 2024: Arrive at YHA Langdale Hostel from 5pm onwards for check-in, evening meal, safety briefing, and to meet your fellow explorers. Accommodation will be on a shared basis in bunk rooms.
Saturday 29th June 2024 (Challenge Day):
• 06:00: Wake up
• 06:30: Breakfast
• 07:00: Transfer to Seathwaite
• 08:00: Commence trek
• 16:00: Complete trek (approx)
• 17:00: Transfer from Old Dungeon Ghyll back to YHA
• 19:30: Dinner
Sunday 30th June 2024: Depart following morning after breakfast. Please note all timings are approximate dependent on group speed and ability.
Included in the challenge:
• Accommodation at YHA Langdale Hostel from June 28th to 30th.
• Guided hike led by Adventure Café hike leaders.
• Transfer arrangements to and from the hike starting point.
